The Growth Cycle by Mr. Muhammad BinGhatti

"5 step process for anything and everything" - Mr. Muhammad BinGhatti
At the Sharjah Entrepreneurship Festival 2025, I attended a session by Mr. Muhammad BinGhatti, and he shared a strategy that truly stuck with me:
1/ Try
2/ Fail
3/ Learn
4/ Fix
5/ Try Again
This process is the secret to growth in any field — your career, business, or personal life."
🔹Try: Step out of your comfort zone and take action. I remember when I first started networking — I had no idea how to approach people, what to say, or how to build relationships. But I tried. I sent LinkedIn requests, started conversations, and slowly stepped into this unfamiliar world.
🔹Fail: Failure is part of the process, not a final destination. Early in my career, I faced rejections while applying for jobs in Dubai. My CV wasn’t working, my approach wasn’t right. But instead of giving up, I embraced the failure as a lesson.
🔹Learn: Every setback teaches something valuable. I analyzed why my job search wasn’t yielding results. That’s when I optimized my LinkedIn profile, improved my CV, and started networking with the right people.
🔹Fix: Once you learn, you adjust. I fine-tuned my job search strategy, improved my communication skills, and adapted my approach to match the industry’s needs.
🔹Try Again: Equipped with new insights, I took another shot — this time, better prepared. Eventually, I landed a job, built my professional network, and even started initiatives like MEP Learnings Community to help others.
Success isn’t about avoiding mistakes; it’s about learning from them. If something didn’t work out today, fix it and try again.
If you're at the start of your career, chasing a dream, or working on personal growth, remember this: You don’t have to be perfect. You just have to start.
What’s the next thing you’ll try today that could shape your tomorrow?
